A Crash Course in Miracles

A Crash Course in Miracles
A Course in Miracles is a modern spiritual masterpiece, often quoted by Eckhart Tolle, Marianne Williamson, and Wayne Dyer. It's a big book, 1200 pages. But what does it say?

In this lively, discussion-based podcast, we created the fast and fun "Red Donut" method which continually evolves. It simplifies A Course in Miracles. To further simplify, we also offer video podcasts. The visuals save alot of time!

Philip also posts "Quotes from A Course in Miracles," and live Baptiste Yoga classes on iTunes. He is a Master Baptiste Yoga Teacher and owns a studio in Rhode Island, SaltPondYoga.com. W. Stacy Vereen owns Chartermain, a company specializing in problem-solving for companies and brands.

This is our first video episode.  We have more in the works.

Did God make this world?  The Course in Miracles says- no.  The world is an illusion - and we are an expansion of God- there is only this. In this episode we will give you a hint of the nature of non-dualism.  We will take a peek into illusory role time plays, and the fragile illusory nature of most of our thoughts.

Don’t worry if you don’t fully grasp NON-DUALISM.  At this point we simply raise to question the illusory nature of most of our thinking, and how it is based on past and future, which are NOT HERE. And if you are uneasy with the thought that God did not make this world, remember that these are just learning tools; in the end, the course is designed to prepare you for the experience of these things.  Experience is our ultimate teacher.

In the next episode, we will construct for you what we call the “Red Donut.”  The Red Donut GRAPHICALLY shows what this Cloud that blocks the Sun is really made of.

I 'lapped up' this video. It certainly makes sense to look anew and to loosen my grip on previously held judgements/resentments - all built on sand. The internet is such a help along this path and I look forward to all the refreshing reminders offered here. thanks.

This is SO great! I have a group that meets twice a week and am thrilled that we will have a chance to use these videos as aides. Love it. It is so creative and it is wonderful to put a face with the voice that has been helping us all for so long. I look forward to additional video casts and hope that we don't have to wait too long! :)

    Thanks again!

I certainly appreciate the resources and time you all put in to make these beautiful podcasts. Thank you so much.
I have one question. According to the podcast information, to comprehend joy, one is instructed to remember an experience like holding a newborn or seeing a scenic view. Later in the podcast, family/friends/planet are some of the very things that are shown to be part of the red donut. I find this so confusing. What am I missing?

I think i say: now, forget the details and remember the experience. The newborn and the vista are examples of situations, when, usually for the first time only, the ego has no PAST REFERENCE. In other words, the ego is temporarily speechless! and in that instant the red donut disappears and your true self, which has been waiting since time began for these opportunities, shines in. Feels like Joy!

Notice that the 2nd newborn, 2nd vista, at which you may look forward to another experience of joy, isn't the same. he ego is prepared and presents your past references and dulls it. Blocks, covers Joy!

This is why presence is so vital to Joy, awakening.

And that is also why i ask you to forget the circumstances, they are really irrelevant, but remember the experience.

Some people seek this experience in different ways, increasing drug or daredevil experiences.

What they are doing is either blotting out the ego (drugs) or seeking new experiences with no past reference (thrill seeking).
