A Crash Course in Miracles

Welcome to  A Crash Course in Miracles!

What this podcast is about

A cloud does not put out the sun.

"The Thought of God surrounds your little kingdom, waiting at the barrier you built to come inside and shine upon the barren ground."

The aim of A Course in Miracles is to remove what blocks our awareness of our natural peace and power.

In this lively, discussion-based pod, we show you a shortcut to seeing the blockage and help you understand Course practices for removing it.  It turns out, the barrier blocking us from our happiness is stubborn but fragile as a cloud.

It is a fun introduction for beginners and helpful for students with dusty copies of the book who choose to start again.

The Fear-preserver, or we sometimes call it the Barrier of Fear or simply The Red Donut is shown and discussed in these podcasts.  It has helped students grasp major Course principles quickly.    It has evolved and expanded with each presentation, often through the insights and discoveries of the students themselves.

Other helpful material for beginners can be found by Dr. Kenneth Wapnick and other great teachers at www.acim.org.   We also recommend  the books "Take Me to Truth" by Nouk Sanchez and Tomas Vieira (www.takemetotruth.com),  "The Disappearance  of the Universe,"  by Gary Renard (www.garyrenard.com) which both offer an easy read of Course principles.

Philip Urso has been a student of The Course for over 10 years.   He studies The Course with other teachers who often join him on this podcast and who have helped in the teaching and development of these ideas.  Thanks to Lisa Urso, Liz Dufresne, Kristen Marx, Elena, Steve McKiernan and Linda Boback and all of the students who have contributed.  Philip also teaches Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga.  Podcasts of live classes are available at iTunes and Libsyn.
